Ahoy again,

The Space Brique Type F Mecha is my attempt at a ‘female’ version of the Type E. I started off by removing one of the chest bricks from the Type E and moving on from there, but that turned out not to be the best approach, so I built it from scratch, using more or less the same form as the Type E. I think I may have followed Michelangelo’s lead of sculpting a woman by sculpting a man and adding breasts (1), although I do point out that the Type F also has wider hips than the Type E form. Oh yes, and pigtails too.

Having a second figure of comparable scale to the Type E broadens the range of poses available (and not just to the obvious ones, of which I’m inclined neither to pose nor take pics!), and I think it’s pretty cool to have one mecha (or humanoid robot), hold hands with or piggyback another. Anyway, some pics for your viewing pleasure:

Once again, I welcome any feedback or suggestions. (At this point the model naming is not up for review, though.)

Cheers

Richie Dulin

(1) As he was generally sculpting in marble, the breasts couldn’t technically be added to a prepared masculine form. However, it is often thought that his female sculptures were masculine in form, with female bits ‘added’. Please note that I am not seeking to favourably compare my efforts with those of Michelangelo, just to pointing out that the approach I’ve ended up following is not entirely original.
