  Re: New trains

(...) computer screen. I know it must look dashing, but it's sadly blue to me. I think what caught my eye the most were the dark gray 1x2 "wood" bricks used in the end-of-car through-ways. Very nice look for the door/diaphram between the coaches. (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

  peeron update

Just to update on Peeron and to answer some emails I have received, Peeron has been adding set pictures at breakneck speed. Somewhere around 70 that I have submitted in the last 3 or 4 days. They are also making inventory corrections at about 20 or (...) (17 years ago, 2-May-07, to lugnet.inv)

Re: The Mantis - To take apart or not take apart?

(...) I've thought about this issue for a day. I think Joel has thought about it much longer. (: First I asked, do I have any MOCs that have survived? Good luck. I just moved and have not unsealed the boxes yet. The funny thing is, the MOCs I've (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

  A Happy Linux LeoCad User

All: I just installed LeoCad 0.71.2 under Red Hat 6.2 (Linux 2.2.12-20) with Mesa 3.2.1. I'm running on some fairly old hardware -- a 90MHz Pentium and an unaccelerated #9 GPX64-Pro w/2MB of video RAM. Mouse based operations are a little on the (...)   Re: Official and Unofficial theme categories

OK, so here's my whole spiel on themes... This is a medium-term planning thing (1-3 months) and a background task while other stuff goes on. I don't expect we'll have the new theme tree completely worked out before the end of January or Februrary. (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.database)

Re: Petition against permanent color changes

Hello! (...) I disagree that new colours are a great idea, at least in general. I'm getting confused by all those new colours available in only few parts. I completely agree, though, that replacing old colours with new colours is a bad idea. (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

The old floppy, fall-off skelton arms were not very good. (...) (18 years ago, 29-Dec-06, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

  It's been ruminating...

See, here's my problem, and I really haven't pinned it down concretely--it's kinda nebulous... However, the reason why I loved--i mean LOVED--LUGNET, (in the day) was that it was (mostly) all-encompassing of the hobby. LUGNET was the 1-stop shopping (...)
