Re: I've started the my first MOC: "White Lion Castle"

I'd say you're off to a good start. I like the columns built into the wall around the door. The opening corner looks like a good design. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: USS Duluth - Hull design innovation!

Dan, This is beautiful! If the resolution on the photos was a little bit worse I wouldn't believe that was made with Lego bricks. Is the hull all 1x2's? I wonder what the inclusion of 1x3's or 1x4's would do to the shape of the curve. I've seen a (...) (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

New Dragons & Xtreme Sports sets

Not much to sing about, but worth mentioning. The Dragons set has four figs with weapons, a few (maybe 3) of the 2x4 rough-hewn bricks, one of the green-n-brown terrain forms, and a Dragon with a blue orb/gem thingie. The Xtreme sports set has four (...) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Kai, Looks like you're off to a very good start. On the higer stories, you might want to include arrow slits on the sides of the towers so that archers can fire along the walls at anyone who is at the base of the wall, or trying to climb up on a (...) (22 years ago, 14-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)
