  Re: Double sided plate

(...) Are these plates or bricks? My experience indicates that a stud is slightly taller than half the width of a plate. Hence, a double female connector has to be taller than a plate, I believe. To verify my experience above, try to put a plate (...) (23 years ago, 1-Oct-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

6085 Black Monarch's Castle compared with 6091 King Leo's Castle

I just finished building the 6085 Black Monarch's Castle and I was most impressed. This is an older set (1988) that I got on ebay and was definitely worth getting. I'm surprised it doesn't get more rave reviews in the notes on lugnet: (URL) also (...) (23 years ago, 1-Oct-01, to lugnet.reviews)

Cool detailed, compact castle! Nice work! I especially like how you have made that big triangular building part of the wall, it helps give the castle character and the impression of being a home for dozens of people instead of just a fortress, with (...) I moved about a month ago & have a lot less space where I'm at now. I just re sorted my lego & have a great system that works for me now. My main goal is to keep my collection under control. Do I really need 100 green 1x2 plates right now? Thats (...) (23 years ago, 2-Oct-01, to lugnet.storage)
