  Firmware

My firmware will not download to the brick under any windows program I have including The origonal lego one. I have tried about 7 different ways, but it only counts up to about 200 until it starts to retransmit. I put it in a perfectly dark room and (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) This sounds correct. In C, this is how I do it: /* Delete the firmware */ *(char *)0xffcc = 1; (*(void (**)(void))0)(); Indeed, *(void (**)(void))0) is the reset vector, whose value is 0x03ae. 0xffcc is timer 0. (...) Great. Thanks. This is a real lifesaver since I am deleting and reloading firmware at a rapid rate and my RCX is inside a construction which makes it awkward to get at the batteries. Now the delete/reload can be done entirely at the GUI. (24 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

To get the latest RCX firmware. Download and install the free 30-day evaluation copy of RobotC (www.robotc.net). It contains RCX firmware version 7.xx.   Firmware Versions in ROBOLAB 2.0

I've been trying to figure out what firmware is included with ROBOLAB 2.0. The software includes two firmware files, Firmware.txt and Oldfirmware.txt.
