| (...) The 2.0 brick is no different than the 1.0 or 1.5 brick apart from the AC connector. 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 all can run the 2.0 Firmware, and all can talk to the USB IR tower. | Our class uses NiMH batteries. Haven't seen any problem... but we do have one problem off and on and I guess that could be related. | One or more of the battery contacts could have lost its springiness. Try bending all the contacts in towards the other side of the compartment (not too far!).
