I don't think either was case. Seriously, I think the official view
is that they (Calum, Jeff, and Iain) wanted to visit more than enter the
competition. Next year, it may be different with possible entries prepared,
or at least well thought out. As for me personally, I really don't care for
robotic competition participation, because I am still very much stuck in
LEGO System mindset, having not a lot of experience with Technic, and no
formal training in Robotic Engineering or Computer Programming.
I like the Mindstorm Firmware because I can understand it. Anything else,
is beyond me. I don't really have the time or the patience to develop any
kind of programming skills.
