  Re: More Lego wallpaper, please!

I can't seem to find it now, but not long ago someone posted some Ldraw-type pics of the impossible to disassemble technic cube that had clear beams and a light blue background that would make very nice wallpaper. (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.general)

my first BF - I had a blast

Thanks to all who made me feel so welcome at my first BF. I especially want to thank Kevin Clague, who calming presence kept me from going ballistic when I learned we couldn't disassemble the instruction books for the timed 8421 crane build. But we (...) (...) This is also excellent advice. On one R/C car I had, I ended up having to simulate the signal input to the controller because the h-bridge was so screwy but it does save you from having to build your own. On a related note, Radio Shack sells (...) (27 years ago, 19-Feb-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) Exactly! Someone would have to disassemble spirit.ocx or the Windows serial port driver to figure out how to do this. (It makes much more sense to work on spirit.ocx, because various versions of Windows will have different drivers.) Bob Stern (26 years ago, 17-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

RE: space shuttle technic set cost?

Yes, 8277 is mostly good for getting lots of long beams in yellow and grey. However, it also contains a good number of "push-pin pegs". These are like the normal black 3-beam friction connector pegs, but with a bushing attached on one end. They come (...) (26 years ago, 17-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

I have made the following personal observations about LEGO, and why it is my medium of choice for robot building. LEGO is very easy to assemble. You can figure out what you want beforehand, without really needing to worry too much about (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
