Additional observations: - at the start of any program, the Scout emits barcode 004 which triggers a 'steam puff' sound in the Code Pilot (if it's in record mode). The Scout seems to emit no other barcodes (but motor left, motor right, motor float (...) (27 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

The Mud Masher was one of the first Technic sets I bought following MindStorms (after my dark age). I think it is a bit expensive for what it is, but the design is very cool.
