Re: 10027 is now sold in blay.... :-(

(...) John- My experience is that the color difference is easier to see in bright daylight and flourescent lighting, probably because they have more UV, and harder in incandescent. -Ted (20 years ago, 22-Mar-06, to lugnet.color, FTX)

Re: 10027 is now sold in blay.... :-(

(...) Hi Ben! Did they burn you when you touched them? ;-) But I feel your pain. We quickly built some train modules in my basement for a train show last weekend, and my basement lighting isn't so good, so when we assembled the modules at the show, (...)   Re: Bricksmith 1.3: Here's Looking at You, Kid

Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm and suggestions. Unfortunately, Bricksmith does not have any native ability to export the images it generates. Since they would be unsuitable for printing anyway, this feature is not apt to ever appear. What I (...) (20 years ago, 22-Mar-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: R21 - Tug of war ??

(...) Steve, rtl will be doing this style of tug of war. we probably will not place a "weight limit" with the understanding that weight is not always better. besides we have the all encompassing "spirit of the game" rule. The current draft rule set (...) (20 years ago, 22-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Thoughts on the UN "Racist" poster?

(...) I'm kinda baffled by the symbology. I don't know about anyone else, but when I'm trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle, I'm not gonna try to use a Lego brick to do it. If that makes me a racist, then so be it. a (20 years ago, 22-Mar-06, to lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)

  Re: New LeoCAD version

(...) Hi, I tried it whith drag and drop the wing 8 x 4 to the space group but find this part then in the bricks group.   Re: 10027 is now sold in blay.... :-(

(...) I can understand that feeling, Ben. The lack of information is the main complaint I have about the colour change. Since I don't have a 10027 though it is good news for me overall since it means I can procrastinate buying one for a while longer (...) (20 years ago, 22-Mar-06, to lugnet.color)

Re: Thoughts on the UN "Racist" poster?

(...) And now it seems the UN OHCHR has taken down the image (or maybe it just moved). Anyhoo, the linked page no longer has the poster on it. I'm thinking someone gave the OHCHR an earful. Steve (20 years ago, 22-Mar-06, to lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)

  Next Lugola meeting

Re: 10027 is now sold in blay.... :-(

(...) Hi Tim, maybe it is good. But I hated to find out I had spent 75 Eur (=90$US) on a nearly useless set. LEGO should have changed the ©2003 to ©2006 or maybe they could have added a 2cent sticker on the box like "Contains new cool colors!". A (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.color)

10027 is now sold in blay.... :-(

Hi all, just a small update from the color frontier: A 10027 set which I boght last weekend has been full with blay parts.   Can't seem to find the "Batman" group
