I'm wondering what other LEGO enthusiasts think of
<http://www.ohchr.org/english/events/racism/ this poster from the UN> about
racism. I'm having a hard time thinking it's coincidental that the symbol
they chose for "odd man out" is a LEGO brick, given the recent cartoon
controversy.

I like the older posters the UNHCR did using minifigs a lot better.

You're right, that one is certainly more clear about what it's trying to get
across. And it's more appropos in using all minifigs to represent something,
rather than using a construction element as something to be termed as different.

I'm just thinking that the symbolism of using an obviously LEGO-shaped brick -
in the manner and placement they chose - could not have been lost on at least
one or two people who had to review it at the UN.

The new poster: hidden conspiracy? Probably not. (Possibly) unintended bias? I
can see that.
