Re: Parts for LDraw or parts for POV-Ray?

(...) Good idea, we shouldn't be discussing this in lugnet.flame.flame :) and Steve said: (...) (...) Thanks Todd. The way I see it is that he has plenty of enthusiasm, but just isn't cut out for the part-designing facet of Legodom. But as the CLSotW has pointed out, there are 1,060 ways to connect 3 8-stud bricks, so there's got to be a way (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Parts packs being discontinued? My rep says "no"

I also got confirmation they are NOT stopping them. The rumor may have come about from only certain packs being discontinued (which they do all the time, sometimes releasing the exact same or nearly exact same contents under a new number).   In-set catalogues this year

How many different in-set catalogues are there in UK sets this year? At the start of 1999, the new sets (Space Port, Adventurers) came with the 1998 in-set catalogue. 1. The Ep4-6 Star Wars came with a folded 2xA4 flyer with pilot Luke on the front. (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Parts packs being discontinued? My rep says "no"

So I've come across rumors of Lego cancelling their line of parts packs. Very disturbing, especially since they've been getting slightly better (green bricks, black roof pieces, etc).
