How many different in-set catalogues are there in UK sets this year?
At the start of 1999, the new sets (Space Port, Adventurers) came with the
1998 in-set catalogue.
1. The Ep4-6 Star Wars came with a folded 2xA4 flyer with pilot Luke on the
front. (4124505/4124506-IN)
2. Some Ep1 sets also came with this, while others came with a different
2xA4 flyer with Anakin on the front (412578-IN)
3. Rock Raiders come with a folded 2xA4 flyer showing mainly Rock Raiders
sets (4124509/412510-IN)
Has anyone seen any others?
Technic sets have come with 3 different in-set catalogues:
1. The 82xx releases come with a folded 2xA4 flyer with the
'interchangeable' sets on the front (4124513/4124514-IN)
2. 8448 came with a mainly silver folded 2xA4 flyer showing a close up of
8448-s front wheel
(4124584-IN)
3. 8446 came with a different picure of 8448 on the cover and inside
(4124517-4124581-IN)
I don't yet have the other 2 84xx releases. What about the Competition sets?
I think Slizers just came with the small folded A4 sheet 'catalogue'
So, can we conclude that the generic in-set catalogue (that shrunk in
dimensions in 1997) is dead?
