  Re: Altre novità 2005!

(21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Reporting on LDView for Mac OS X

As I'm getting back in the swing of all things ldraw, I tried out the Mac OS X version of LDView ((URL) Pretty cool viewer - works well on my G4 running 10.3.7. No crazy interface artifacts. Encountered a couple little bugs, figured I'd mention them (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Re: Whatever happened...

(...) Calum, a few of us in NELUG were just talking about these very topics at the train show we did this past weekend. While I'm not speaking on behalf of NELUG, the four of us who were having the discusion all agreed that LUGNET, or more correctly (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Whatever happened...

(...) I think I may have to make a new year's resolution, give up on lugnet and just browse brickshelf instead. That's where most of today's cool MOCs show up anyhow. Lugnet doesn't seem to have a lot to do with the art and craft of Lego these days. (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Meet the Briclopeans (and their DuoDrive 2004)

The Briclopeans are a race of block-headed, one-eyed humanoids. Their planet is very short on resources, so they can only afford to put two wheels on their cars. This transport is fairly typical of their cross-country taxis, used for crossing the (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX) !!

  Re: Maersk and Lego

(...) Yes that is true. I too find it hard to believe that Lego wouldn't make sets for Maersk anytime they wanted it, if they can earn a profit from it. btw, there are some similarities between Maersk and Lego. Both companies were founded early in (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: .space Timeline

(...) Well, I can't wait to have a closer look at it, but couldn't you move the buttons down below the spotlights? I think most people use the spotlight list a lot more frequently than the buttons, so less scrolling is needed if you swich them (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Another Episode 3 Set!!! Spoiler Warning!!!

And well done again rebelscum/theforce.net: (URL) Vader's Transformation - With the help of a medical droid, the Jedi Knight once known as Anakin Skywalker is transformed into the villainous Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith. Includes Anakin (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Whatever happened...

(...) I was thinking about this earlier. Jake just needs to shut-up. Whenever he starts talking, it seems to get him (and TLC) into trouble. Imagine if he had never said anything about the Maersk ship. People would not have expected it to become a (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Another big house of my little town

(...) Hello! This is wonderful! I love all the details in the building and surrounding scene as well. Love the fence around the park. Really like the trams as well. Looks like you used the new dark grey color on the roof of the trams and it works (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Whatever happened...

(...) This is a reference to the TV show Happy Days. The show was good for a few years, but it eventually started getting gimmicky and went down in quality. This first became apparent when they made an episode about Fonzi jumping his motorcycle over (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Whatever happened...

(...) No, and it was voluntary, AFAIK. He took the initiative to be the community liaison and while I don't know exactly what happened, my impression was that he pitched his superiors on the idea of being that link. I'm the kind of guy at work who (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Whatever happened...

(...) Ya. AND THAT'S SCARY. Chris Magno: sane??? Well more seriously... .build isn't too bad. In fact can I put a general pitch/plea in? If you see a MOC you like, and you think it worthy, *spotlight* it.. that's one way to move the non MOC stuff (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Mac MPD Utility 1.2 released

(...) I have talked to the POV-Ray folks and figured out what I need to do to package a version of POV-Ray with my app L3P Launcher. So in my next version it will be all self contained (l3p and povray) and will be able to do the renders for you. I (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Re: Whatever happened...

(...) That's pretty much what drove me out of my black hole of lurkerdom. I don't think the negativity expressed on LUGNET is fully representative of the AFOL audience, but if there are no rebuttals to some of the most outlandish displays of pique, (...)   Re: MOC: Space Wagon

(...) Tony, I really like this ship... its refreshing to see a moc using mostly "old school" building techniques & pieces. I like the idea of doing retro-nostalgia inspired MOCs. I think it would be fun to do modern interpretations of the classic (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
