James: (...) Absolutely, something like NIH can be used either for determining where your robot is in the world (eg. with a fixed camera looking down at your robot), or telling where things are relative to your robot with a robot mounted camera. (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I am a proponent for HALCON from mvtec.com. Although I have to admit that I am biased, as I have used HALCON during my thesis, its a very powerful environment. The number of available operators ranges from simple low-level image processing to (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi :) *GREAT* ! Are you planning to share your findings ? :) I downloaded the current version of rv2 (the one that now includes RvCAD V.1) and tryed it: WOW :) It doesn't work with my ATI All-in-Wonder128 format feed, nor with mpeg (yet?) but the (...) After checking Pong Suvan's apps/lib ((URL) checked HALCON 5.2 ((URL) as was my intention. HALCON looks like a very powerfull, well documented, well done and easy to use (through HDeveloper and/or the COM version) software package. Now, correct me (...)
