Re: LEGO in Canada (From Samsonite to TLG) 1962-94.

Canadian LEGO sets from 1962 until circa 1990 would be worth more than comparable sets sold in other markets if they were more well known. Here's an example.... the London Bus Set... known as 760 London Bus in the USA, and 384 London Bus in Canada (...) (9 years ago, 1-Mar-15, to lugnet.org.ca)

Re: LEGO in Canada (From Samsonite to TLG) 1962-94.

Oppps.... almost forgot... I was planning to make the Canadian catalogs available in a fashion similar to this.... (URL) a complete set would be awesome! (eh!) Thanks! Gary Istok (9 years ago, 27-Feb-15, to lugnet.org.ca)

  Reduced Lego

While shopping today at my local Walmart, which seems to be carrying less and less Lego all the time, I happened to notice a few Lego sales. The speed boat with motor was reduced by 20 dollars. As well as reduced prices for the Alpha Team sets, and (...) (19 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca)

Re: New Site - JLUG - Contest & Prizes too!

(...) Hi Janey, Nice site! One question tho - Considering the color scheme, the healthy use of the letter 'J', and the big banner at the top (which looks really "Rising Sun" to me), I thought JLUG was a Japanese LUG. Are you turning Japanese? ^) (...) (19 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca, FTX)
