Thanks for the opportunity, Jake and keep up the good work.
I truly believe that we AFOLs have been underestimated by TLC, so this is a
great opportunity to let them know who we are. The majority of my purchases have
been through retail and I’ve never done any other surveys, so I’m pretty sure
I’ve been ‘below the radar’ to them.
I heartily encourage everyone to respond to this (including the lurkers out
there) as it will give Jake the info he needs to advocate on our behalf. This
poll is easy to do and unlike much of the Lego site, it runs fast even in
Netscape 4.78 on a Mac (mirabile dictu), so there’s no excuse.
One thing to beware of, though. When it asks for a number it won’t allow commas
or currency indicators, so just use the digits. (Hey, it took me a moment to
figure out why 5,000 wasn’t considered a number.)

My efforts internally include a large bit of "training and introduction" about AFOLs. Projects like the "AFOLs" comic are (...)
