Looks like the arch is made from 4.5v curved rails, right Arne? I really
like the look of it, very sturdy and even looking. Nice job.

I'd have to argue with the "two" arch bridges though, I have a technic arch
bridge that I made earlier this year.

Don't forget Gianluca's bridge. I do not have the knowledge to categorize it
with any authority, but it looks like and arch that is getting a little bit of
help from a trussed deck. It too is a very nice bridge.

The really neat thing about Arne's Hell's Gate bridge is that there is no truss
under the deck. In his model, the 4.5v rails along the side help stiffen the
deck which probably takes a bit of the load off of the arch.

It not a steep arch, but an arch just the same :)

Congratulations - There appears to now be two LEGO arch bridges
in the world.  :-)  It looks good - a more "European" feel than mine.

I've managed to get enough beams to make a few of my bridges, but
I don't know if I'll be able to have one ready in time for Christmas
like I had hoped.  I don't want to post photos till it's ready, but
imagine a much more intricate version of my monorail bridge...

I'm curious though what you've used to form the actual arch.  I'm using
Technic beams and a "Technic" my AFOL brother and I came up with.
It appears to me that you're using something other than LEGO for the
arch in your bridge - can you elaborate on the construction?
