Chris,

Yes, it is still available, I got the new Adventurer cover (Spring? I
have to go look at it now! OK, Spring 1999 titled Jungle Adventure -
Pretty neat picture!) page 9, bottom. $66.00US. I thought about this
train a lot, and I think it is a good value now (For the train parts,
not the design), I just really got turned off by the engine and the wood
lumps in one of the cars. I might buy one soon, as the SW Lego's won't
be coming around soon (Why didn't I pre-order?! UGH!! :( )

First, I still do not like it based the same reasons everyone else
doesn't like it, but economically...

3 pairs of wheel sets at $3.50              = 10.50
4 pairs of magnetic couplers at 3.50  = 14.00
1 train engine                                          = 27.50

spare parts alone....                               $ 52.00
Which leaves $14 for the rest of the model (counting minifigs at $1 ea)
we are down to $11 for the rest of the model.

Oh why oh why did they put blue glass in the coach! If it was clear I
would not be debating my next purchase!

Chris

PS Is it still available? The first time I saw it was in December, but
it is a special set so normal rules about sale life expectancy to do not
apply.
