(FUT .trains only, no need to bother others with this bickering)

Fact is, like Steve Barile and Ben Beneke (in another thread last year I
think) mentioned earlier, that as the crowd grows it's harder to get
noticed. However if you then start whining about not being noticed, don't
be afraid to be the receiver of some critic. Larry told what he felt, after
he was asked to do so. Some people might try to wrap it nicely, some say it
as they see it I guess.
I second Tim's posts; some read too much into a post. And then all goes
south...
But since OP wanted to hear it, I'll add my chips:
I like the red-white scheme, looks a bit like modern German rolling stock.
The cars all look very good (great bagage cars specially) However I'm less
thrilled about the engines, specially 1. It doesn't have the smooth look of
the cars. Engine 2 is somewhat better but the dual level looks a bit odd to
me, probably because of mixed scales it seems.
Also if you want feedback, perhaps present it a bit nicer? I love the
rendering of the railway station by Tim David as a background to present
models for instance, giving it a dynamic sense. Or Ben's bridge, which
shows a train in a more natural surrounding, usually making it look a lot
better. Your railway station seems like a nice start for it.
(see a bad example here :
http://www.vanree.net/brickpiles/images/br211-1.jpg , too clean and too
little color used in the background, making it look bland. Yes, my own
work... http://www.vanree.net/brickpiles/images/br211-2.jpg is somewhat
better due to camera angle and lights used)
Little suggestion, add some color to it. Right now it looks somewhat
depressing, perhaps due to the way lights were used while rendering, and
unrealistically clean. Have a look at Rainer Brendler's Bahnhof for some
suggestions, such as placing things at angles other than 90 degrees to
break the straight lines a bit
