I believe people have the right to say whatever the heck they want. Whether or
not what they say is beneficial or not is a different story. Should people
criticize and put down? I don't think its a good thing. Can you stop someone
from offering criticism without infringing on their first ammendment rights? I
don't think so.

Oh spare me. Larry is a great person in my opinion, someone I've had the
privilege of knowing in person for many years. I don't always agree with his
posts, but believe me, he has no ill intent.
As for the train community, I believe it is one of the most open to sharing
ideas, because there are so many great builders in it. In my time spent at
(many) fan conventions with trainheads, I see so much encouragement and sharing
of ideas. I haven't witnessed anyone slinging crap at another builder for a
'sub-par' MOC.
