Yeah - now all we need is TLG to resurrect the small doors for the 1x4x3 train window in GREY, and we can go hogwild with grey containers for trains. -- | Tom Stangl, Technical Support Netscape Communications Corp | Please do not associate my (...)   NEW Train Accessory Packs!

I just got the S@H Holiday 2000 catalog, and was very pleased to find the addition of Train Accessory packs. If you haven't already seen the catalog, or heard about these sets, then here is some information for you: Train Windows with Panes (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: High Speed Trains-Photogallery Link-LEGO Acela v.1

Hi James, (...) THAT is the point. There is no right or single solution, the possibilities are enormous, depends on which aspect in designing the model you as builder put the most affords in! (...) Yes, you are right. When I got some time at work I (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)

I thought those large radar dishes are 8x8 (part#3961?) making the gray cylinder 8x8 or larger... (URL) about the big round green parts in Watoo's junk yard. And how about Watoo! SteveB (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: High Speed Trains-Photogallery Link-LEGO Acela v.1

(...) That was a pretty easy change. I think the dual-nose High Horsepower locomotive may have a blue roof above the cab windscreen. Maybe that's what stuck in my mind for the color of version 1. (...) I think I understand your description. Making (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Latest Larger Layout

(...) That's what I was wondering. I notice James and Chris were silent about being able to make a 60" x 60" mountain with four tunnels, one of them with a spiral chamber, and all of them curved. 8-) With enough time and bricks it would be "doable", (...)   Re: High Speed Trains-Photogallery Link-LEGO Acela v.1

(...) The white complex "train" nose slope is available in a recent LEGO boat that comes in a Coast Guard HQ set #6435. But, I don't recall ever seeing a gray part available. Dunno? later, James Mathis (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)

New set 7106 Droid Escape good for a Tanker?

I suspect that the large (6 stud dia?) gray cylinder has painted graphics on it, but that part looks interesting for possible train applications. (URL) Mathis (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Six-wide train windshield

(...) (URL) This set retails for around 5 to 6 bucks. I wish the windshield were hinged, but that conflicts with the trend toward inaccessible vehicle interiors TLC has embraced these past few years. Dave! (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

  Red Club car in 2001?

Take a look at (URL) spaceship on the left features transparent red club car windows. I dont expect an official lego set, but cant wait to see a red club car MOC. Perhaps black and red would look nice. regards lawrence (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Six-wide train windshield

Of course, unfortunately. This windshield with "no hinges" seems to be the new popular thing of TLC designers. Look at City sets (floating boats), Space port sets (radar truck), and I'm sure there is some more around. Also look at many sets (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

  Six-wide train windshield

Hi, folks, It's been a while since I checked in to LUGNET. I've been busy moving from California to Maryland!
