  Re: IR train base alternative

(...) <SNIP> (...) Well, its persuaded me to go and get one to modify sometime :) (...) Seeing a the instructions are already here (in your post). I'd look at selling preassembled units rather than explaining how to further than you already have. (18 years ago, 31-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod)

  IR train base alternative

Hey all, Well I’m at it again. This time I bring you something with more usability. As most of you reading this should know the Lego Company recently released 2 IR train sets. While the idea is great, the implementation left much to be desired. The (...)   Re: How to hide that IR Electrics box?

(...) I would suggest just not using the new IR baseplate. I have the new freight set and I am not pleased with the pulling power of the train. Just pulling the 4 cars that come in the set, the wheels slip. So I guess I dont see the need to want to (...) (18 years ago, 29-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: German DB Class 144 in 8-wide for IR System

(...) Hi James, This caught my eye earlier today. Great work as usual, especially under the constraint of incorporating the IR box. The magnifying glasses are a great idea (I've not seen it before). But... 1x1 slopes don't come in green ;) Tim (18 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

German DB Class 144 in 8-wide for IR System

While I'm not 100 percent sure what the new 6 x 30 IR train baseplate looks like, I tried to fake it for an experiment to build a locomotive based on the German DB Class 144 as inspired by the new IR set loc as a starting point. I've seen better (...) (18 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: New train set?

Well if you look at the first part that goes over building the engine, you will notice that it shows sliding the 9v wheels onto the axel, then placeing them in the holder.   Re: Wardale 5AT
