Hi Carl,
so, what about the colours of the heads themselves? Were they all light grey
in these packs? Accoring to the boxes, the Turaga heads should be in their
six individual colours (e.g. Vakama #8540 having a red head behind is orange
mask)

Yes, that's a realy mystery and I believe TLC does NOT WANT the soloution to
be released. That increases the hype around the masks. The less we know
about them, the more packs we will buy. I still think that there will be at
least 144 standard masks, as I can't imagine some masks (Kaukau, Matatu...)
being released in more than 6 colours while others would be limited to six
colours - that would be even more weird! Only time will tell I believe...

I checked a few shops here in Germany today, they were either sold out or
still had "the first (old) february release" in stock (which I already have
99% complete).

I don't know. It starts to be even more complicated right now, doesn't it?
How many Kaukaus will there be in the end? We have already seen 8 different
ones and have no idea if there'll really be 12 shades and either we know
which colour belongs to which figure . Finally, what would an infected
Kaukau look like? And will there be transgolden Kaukau, ugh??? Strange eh!
Anyone able to imagine twleve different transparent colours anyway??? What
about this:
Pohatu - transbrown (never seen before) ?
Onua - transblack (same as smokeSWgrey) !
Gali - transdarkblue (included in 8533) !
Tahu - transred (nearly confimred IMHO) !
Lewa - transgreen (nearly confirmed IMO)!
Kopaka - transclear (is that Kopakas ?) !
Vakama - transorange (is that Vakamas?) !
Matau - transneon (same as Lewas eyes?) ?
Onewa - transbeige (never seen before) ?
Nokama - transmediumblue (already seen) !
Nuju - translgtgrey (never seen before) ?
Whenua - transdkgrey (never sen before) ?
Lots and lots of questions. It will be different to keep up with the Kanohi.
My calculator just told me that there are even 338 possible combinations!
338 ???? What is this guy talking about ? Let me explain then:
13 colours x 13 shapes x 2 status ==> 338 possibilities!!!

we know of 6 Toa ones, 6 Turaga ones and most probably golden ones this fall...
shapes:
we know of 6 Toa ones, 6 Turaga ones and most probably the new one shown on
the mask bags already...
status:
a mask can obviously be normal or infected. Possably (although I don't
really believe that) all 13 colours as well as all 13 shapes might appear as
infected versions as well. That would double the entire number of masks at
once. I can't even imagine a transgolden infected Kaukau though... :)
NOW, Tomas Clark, can you estimate a date when you're done with looking into
this? Can it really be that difficult for someone inside TLC to find some
answers that help us out? Hm, I can't loose the feeling that TLC is simply
not willing to talk about this disaster, or even worse, they really
*planned* to create this chaos in order to make much more money this way
(which might certainly be the case, since this mysterius way it's way more
interesting to find out more and more...)

| Hi everyone, I just bought 4 packs of the Kanohi Mask packs (8530), and I noticed that I had some of the masks which were 'previously unavailable' because of the 'bad distribution problems'. I had the following ones - A light grey Kanohi Ruru - A (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
