How about a fully automated Mindstorms controlled minifig scale Freefall
amusement park ride?  Sound like fun?

It's called The Gravity Well, and it's my first technic MOC since November
2001.  It seems I'd been focusing a little too much on .space this past
year, so a little change of pace was necessary.  Who knows what's going to
be next...

Adrian-

I wish I could see this in all its glory but unfortunately the comps at
school won't allow me to do so.  This this looks AMAZING!!!  I think it's
incredible (not literally) that you were able to work this out and have it
function so realistically.  That tire tread at the bottom is a really nifty
idea, as well as the brief pause that was mentioned.
I look forward to seeing this in action!

I have the same problem at work.  I don't have Quicktime installed here so I
can't view my own movies, and since I don't have admin access on this
workstation, I can't install Quicktime :/

It's not exactly realistic, as the prototypical Freefal ride rerights the car
in a different and more complicated manner.  There would be many a lawsuit with
the G-forces on this ride at the brake and the flip'n'drop.  Luckily, minifigs
don't have internal organs to jar and spines to fracture :)

Glad you enjoyed it.
