  Re: Tower crane

Wow! That's double the radius of mine! Pretty impressive crane. I wish I had the space to put in an RCX for balance control, 'cause that's the weakest link (Goodbye!) in my crane. The center turntable snaps before the boom breaks..... I wonder how (...) (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.au)

New mask varieties have also reached Germany

Hi, after Carl posted his exciting news on more Turaga mask sightings, I got a new shipment in today with so far unseen masks, among them a Kanohi RAU and a Kanohi Matatu in a strange blue...... the new masks have obviously reached Germany as (...) (...) And Carl, I hope you don't mind, too... My time is very limited right now, so I simply sent your pic to Xtian without further comment... Arnold (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: a question for those with lots of technic

(...) That's a neat idea; I probably don't have the pieces needed to construct it (it would have to be very large)...it probably is possible, but the main axles would have to be VERY strong and the truck would also probably require a lot of (...) (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Roborider wheels

I just noticed last night that a few of the roboriders wheels seem to glow in the dark. I guess they are made out of the same material that the ghost in the older castle sets was made of (can't remember the name of the material though). Anyone else (...)   Re: Corrected distribution of Kanohi Masks (8530)

Hi again, Carl, (...) Thanks. However, the Turaga sets will include "new" heads. The shape will stay but the colours will depend on the Turagas. Each head will come in the color of the according TOA mask: for example: The TOA Lewa has green masks (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Corrected distribution of Kanohi Masks (8530)

(...) Well, I came to the same conclusion and roughly the same number... (...) Well, in Belgium one bag consist of 2 randomly distributed masks, 1 head, 1 (randomly distributed) 'pair of eyes', and 2 (why 2) length 3 rods. One bag costs 89 Belgian (...)   Re: Corrected distribution of Kanohi Masks (8530)

(...) Well, all colours of the heads are the same (the standard Lego light grey.) The 'eyes' were still the same like in the first batch, so no changes there. But one thing was also the same: in each bag there were 2 masks, 1 head, 1 'pair of eyes', (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Corrected distribution of Kanohi Masks (8530)

Okay, I have a new theory. If you go to the mask pages at bionicle.com, the Great Masks of Power (Toa Kanohi) must be collected by the Toa and each have he six little boxes of the Toa colors. The Noble Masks of Power (Turaga Kanohi) can be worn by (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  IMAGES of some new masks...

Re: Corrected distribution of Kanohi Masks (8530)

Hi Carl, so, what about the colours of the heads themselves? Were they all light grey in these packs? Accoring to the boxes, the Turaga heads should be in their six individual colours (e.g. Vakama #8540 having a red head behind is orange mask) (...) (...)   Re: bionicle names (was: Corrected distribution of Kanohi Masks (8530))

Re: Corrected distribution of Kanohi Masks (8530)

(...) I'm with Huw on this one, I've not seen the the sets in the shops and the Bionicle website gives no idea what the things actually look like.
