I really like the big Akro-Mils 64-, 44-, and 24-drawer cabinets. You can beat up on the polyethylene drawers all you like and they come back for more. Pick some up if you can get your hands on them for cheap. I've had some trouble getting them (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jul-04, to lugnet.storage)

My wife and I have decided to put an addition on to our house. One of the main goals of the addition is to address the lack of storage in the existing house. (a colonial built around 1910 - families did not have much Lego back then!) As part of the (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.storage)

The 3770 also supports "angled" dividers (intended to fishing tackle with big "lips"/"spoons" on the front). It should be noted (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jun-04, to lugnet.storage)

I think the idea is make a "working set" depending on what you like. Some sorted, some not. I keep a good amount of sorted Lego in 3 39-drawer cabinets. In these I am able to store a limited amount of plates and small parts of all colors. Most of (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

Hello, while I would not say I have too much Lego, I certainly have a chore in maintaining it all. So, what I do is keep one color out that I can work with. Try that. Also, I keep choice elements and parts out on my desk that I hope to use some day. (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

I picked the rougher STEN instead of IVAR shelving, but then mine lives in the basement. STEN worked well with Clearview storage bins, until Clearview changed all their sizes last year. (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.storage)

The subject pretty much says it all. My local Wal-mart carries the 3770 for around $4.50, and a Sportsman's Warehouse in the next town has the 3700's for $3.29. What are the differences, and is it worth it driving a half-hour each way for the extra (...) (20 years ago, 27-May-04, to lugnet.storage)
