I also happen to like both, but I like Star Wars better. I only watch Star
Trek, but I live and breath Star Wars. Nearly every other phrase out of my
mouth is a SW quotation... :) I find myself thinking about Star Wars all
the time, I only think about ST when I'm watching it. I own a good deal of
SW merchandise, and I've actually constructed two lightsaber hilts (out of
metal piping and spare parts.) The only ST merchandise I have are a couple
of (unofficial) Klingon weapons... a dagger and a Batleth I just got from
e-bay. I attended the SW Celebration in Denver (it's an hour's drive after
all) but I've never been to a ST convention. I own all of the SW movies, I
only own two of the ST movies. Etc, etc, etc.
As stated, they both have their merits, but I prefer the Star Wars
universe... Han Solo is cooler than Captain Kirk! hehehe, you gotta see
Free Enterprise, it's a great flick... :)
