Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) This one has been debated repeatedly ever since the movie origionally came out. I personally think he should have received a medal and I can't really give you a good answer as to why he didn't. Whether intendid or not there have been racial (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) It's always bothered me that Chewie didn't get a medal placed around his neck by the Princess. He risked his his life also. What's up with that!? (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Minifig packs - page updated

(...) I am always ready to expose a conspiracy! Could it somehow be connected to the plot to make all heroes/anti-heros speak English? ...hmm, maybe the female minifigs have some kind of control over the male drone figures, hence the fewer numbers (...)   Re: On future Lego Star Wars minifigs...

I would have to agree with you on that one, add to the fact that the Storm Troopers are also on the Lego Star Wars System Logo, and you have a sure bet. Also, in the comic for the Sith Infiltrator, you have Jawa. I'm hoping for a large Jawa (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: ATAT-Falcon Blueprints

(...) For my AT-AT, I used primarily 3 sources: - The_Essential_Guide_...W_Vehicles - Incredible_Cross_Sections - SW_Technical_Journal The best of these being the Essential Guide, because it had 'blueprints' of the side, front, and back (no interior (...)   On future Lego Star Wars minifigs...

I remember reading here somewhere that Lego does in fact have plans to do an Imperial series for the 2001 Star Wars line up, and along that note here's a thought. I got a MF set from Toys R Us last week, and it had the typical cartoon at the end of (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Minifig packs - page updated

(...) Well, satire usually is ;-) When I wrote that, I was thinking of Nichelle Nichols' comment about her role in the original Star Trek: "They combined their token black and their token female, and made her a telephone operator". I was also (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.starwars)

  Mark's Lego Creations Design-A-Civvie Contest (rev B)

Hi Everyone! Ok, I posted this last friday, but I've decided to re-post and extend my deadline so more people can participate. I also eliminated the one-submission-per-category limit, so you guys can submit as many as you want! I haven't decided on (...)   Re: Mark's Lego Creations Design-a-Civvie Contest!

Thanks for the input, Bram. I haven't run a contest before, so I appreciate you letting me know what has made a good contest in the past. Per your suggestions, I think I will make those changes, if it means I will have a better/more varied contest. (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) He is cleverly pushed aside by the commie (not that there is anything wrong with that) Rebels, and never receives praise or a medal for his hard labor. I think that the Rebels have a Glass Ceiling of their own. Poor old Ackbar has to put (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Design-a-Civvie Contest!

(...) (haven't looked at the rules yet, but here are some comments) Although it might make judging & such more difficult, I think this contest would be much more successful if you gave more time and posted the rules to LUGNET.   Re: ATAT-Falcon Blueprints

I think he meant blueprints of the vehicles themselves, not MOC's. If so, maybe these links can help: (URL) - a lot of description of various dimensions and scale for the ATAT, photos but no plans (URL) ostly the same for the falcon, but with some (...)   ATAT-Falcon Blueprints

Re: Minifig packs - page updated

(...) Isn't "crossing guard" a bit of a harsh judgement in this case? Are female crossing guards normaly dressed in leather biking gear?
