When I wrote that, I was thinking of Nichelle Nichols' comment about
her role in the original Star Trek: "They combined their token black
and their token female, and made her a telephone operator".
I was also thinking (to keep this on-topic for at least one group :-)
about an ad I'm about to post to remedy the lack of female minifigs
in my collection. They don't seem to appear in the sets that make
good parts fodder.

I hadn't, but I just bought a WW service pack for the cowperson hats and
neckerchiefs, so your timing is perfect. Thanks for the idea.
