Re: ok, lets play this again, what sets should we see in November

(...) Ever since I was 8 years old my favorite scene in the trilogy was the one where the Emporer lands on the death star. If lego make an Imperial shuttle it better NOT be shuttle 'Tyderium' (Tyderium is that specific shuttle's name) filled with (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) And Gungans. It's cool, though, that Speeder Bikes are called Bikes, since bike is of course an abbreviation for bicycle, implying that wheeled conveyances were in use prior to repulsor technology. That, or perhaps the engine is two-cycled! (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) So you can tell which movie you're watching. ;) (...) Wheels are for droids, man. Steve (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: ok, lets play this again, what sets should we see in November

(...) Nah, it's not an icon. All they (the main characters) do is sit in the cockpit and casually fly around. Compare that with the Speeder Bikes, the AT-ST's, which were right in the thick of the action. These vehicles made a connection to the (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

I thought I'd include the entries for the A-wing, B-wing & TIE Advanced in the Star Wars Encyclopedia. Maybe it'll help sorting out the differences between the ships. Happy reading, & get the encyclopedia if you don't already have it, it's (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

has anyone made a zuckuss minifig??? (URL) James Walker (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Australian Millenium Falcon Release Date and $$$ = IMPORTING necessity

Pete, I want to be the one with the BIG Glove doing the smacking. The lady from LA did say three, not two hundred. I asked if she said 2 or 3, and she replied 3. Make that a stick, or maybe an aluminium cricket bat. Mike (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Millenium Falcon spotting: Los Angeles

(...) Saw several at the Kingston Pike TRU for those interested in Knoxville. Also saw some of the UCE X-Wings for $149.99. Gotta figure out a way to get those cheap... (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Millenium Falcon spotting: Los Angeles

At long last, it has been spotted here in La La Land at both TRU and ZB. Mass quantities at TRU, not so many at ZB. Price? $89.99, of course. Many MTTs and ATTs were spotted as well as the Grip N' Go challenge (racers), and the same 2 dino sets. (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Canadians ordered UCS from S@H?

OK...so what is the U.S. price for the UCS X-Wing at S@H? (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) Amendment: Astromech Droids are able to carry 10 preprogrammed hyperdrive routes in memory, and can recalculate for new jumps with some ease and a little time. Rebel hyperdrive equiped fighters not using Astromechs or sophisticated computers (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

If I remember correctly, they included the shields and a more robust life support system to the Tie Advanced to make them, and the pilots last longer. This was the second coming of the empire, and it was a much poorer empire at that point, so they (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) But...Vader's TIE did have hyperdrive and it was the only advanced model that we see in the original trilogy. Have fun building, Travis (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: ok, lets play this again, what sets should we see in November

(...) as (...) Han, Luke (...) NO!!! I want that thing crammed full of Imperial Guards, man! I'm sick to death of all the Luke figs. Bah. ~Mark (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) you... (...) The A wing was introduced for recon, escort, and interceptor purposes as well as for quick raids. It has shields and a hyperdrive two lasers and a pair of concussion missle launchers. Y wing is an old outdated bomber which was (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) Ouch, I would have to disagree with you on that last one. The B-wing is no where near as fast or agile as a Tie Advanced, but it does carry way more armor and weapons. TIE Advanced were one of the latest developments in the TIE series and were (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: ok, lets play this again, what sets should we see in November

(...) I must agree that the Imperial Shuttle is highly recognizable, I would go as far as to say it is an icon of ROTJ. A light grey set in the $75-$100 range would be super sweet...complete with folding wings (of course) and Han, Luke and Leia in (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) I'll try not to... no promises tho... :) (...) you... (...) It depends on how you mean... if you mean as actual ships, the B-Wing is a heavily armed figher/bomber and the A-Wing is a lightly armed reconasaince ship. The A-Wing is supposedly (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  UCS sets spotted in stores....

Found UCS Tie and X-Wing in TRU Kingston, Massachusetts and Hyannis, MA. Impressed with both sets...however. X-wing contains gears which allow repositioning of s-foils via turning a round 4X4X1 located on back of ship...the hinges are weak and (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: ok, lets play this again, what sets should we see in November

(...) The Shuttle is just a really cool ship! I think that kids will want it just because it looks cool. And, IMO, The Shuttle is highly recognizable as a SW ship. I admit that I am a "collector" but I loved the shuttle even before I became one. The (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)
