Guys, go to brickshelf and check out Bram's entry for the non-voilent space
moc contest, if you haven't seen it yet.  He just finished it.  WOW!  I am
simply beside myself with joy...

I'm going to sulk now...

Good gravy. We'd seen in-progress shots from him, but the finished work is a
masterpiece, yes. And I feel the exact same way when he builds something I
was working on: on one hand I'm glad he can come up with such an
inspirational design. On the other hand, I feel a little like sulking cause
I didn't come up with it! (oh well, at least Bram's a helpful and positive
dude, and not someone with an ego... thankfully!). And for those people who
think we're only impressed cause it's huge: nope, he's blown me away with
his small creations too (esp his incredible double-wide cars).

You want REALLY depressing? Keep in mind he's only 18 or so. =p

Great stuff, Bram!

(...) Ya, that raises a good point. When you're checking out a 1000 piece MOC it's bound to be somewhat impressive if only because it's large. But a 100 piece MOC that makes you go wow is WAY more remarkable. Large is easy. Small is hard. ++Lar (24 years ago, 28-May-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) I tend to use a ton of parts no matter what I build. Even my double wide cars are 200-300 parts each. But I guess they are still some of my smallest creations (...) Hey! 19! ;) In case you ever forget again: (URL) Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (24 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.space)
