Not really - I like things that move & do stuff, & bases just kinda, you
know, sit there. Besides, I like to think of a big ship as a base that can
move - it arrives somewhere and the crew & equipment come out of it to do
their work. When they've finished, they load up and move to a new location
and do it all over again.
