Use grey, the unpainted metal colour? Other than that I like them as they are.

Most of my green is tied up in a mech I don't want to disassemble, and a lot of my sand green is in use in another MOC, otherwise I would have tried a green one. (...) | I tried to scale down the design of my last MOC, the Pinpoint, to come up with an entry for the one-man category in the Military Hover contest. The result is the Shuriken (so-named because it comes flying in real fast to cause hurt): (URL) At a (...) (20 years ago, 28-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !
