  Re: Cybermen

(...) Yes but Cybermen have perfect grammar, though "fragmentized" may not be a proper word (Revenge of the Cybermen). (...) Yes it is a minifig scale "The Robot" from Lost In Space. (...) Yes, it emulates bad lighting, space grunge, nice and grim. (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: ContainerHabs

(...) Nicely done! And very forward-looking, to have been done back at the beginning! It took me a minute to figure out how your door slid so nicely; elegant solution, and very spacey-looking! Looks like just enough room for one person to live with (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

Nice work Soren. I like how you made it all bulky and tough looking. The colours work, as do the greebles (gotta love those smoke dischargers). However, I think it needs a vision block. Or maybe more optical sensors, preferably in blue or cyan. (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: ContainerHabs

(...) Here's something I built along those veins back when we started the MB project: (URL) TV, table, chair, light, door...what more do you need? --Bram (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  ContainerHabs

(...) Neat ideas! A stack of ContainerHab floors lends itself nicely to several high-density temporary housing uses: * Low income single person housing * Construction worker/military barracks * cargo runner motel (think truck stop) * prison cell (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  LRP-38 Screamer

Well, Jon's P-38 space plane contest excited, but I was stuck for a starting point until one night, in between kegs of home brew, I stared at my can of Genessee Cream Ale, and realized it was a neat color combination. Behold the LRP-38 Screamer! (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Cybermen

(...) The proper modified term would be "All your moonbase are belong to us". (...) Is Red-Hands supposed to represent any specific robot like the Daleks were, or is it an original variation? It kinda reminds me of Robbie the Robot, or the one from (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Space Cargo Container Standard?

(...) Semi trailers and cargo containers are very different beasts. Cargo containers are just big boxes. No wheels or anything, and they come in long and short varieties (where 2 shorts = 1 long). Standard cargo container cars are basically just (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: That old set FEELING...

(...) That contest was a ton of fun. One thing that one had that I haven't seen in any other contest here was that we were encouraged to make entries look like official sets. Add a support vehicle, the appropriate number of figs and accessories, and (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

(...) snip (...) Very cool, I like the shape, and the colors. I think it's greebled really well too. I feel like maybe it could use a ladder or something on the back, it seems like it's kinda a long drop from the hatch to the ground. -Dan Rubin (...)   Re: Space Cargo Container Standard?

(...) I'd think this would work simply by replacing the front set of turntables (2x2 plate, 3680C01.DAT) with 2x2 plates (3022.DAT). The automated engine ought to be fine with turntables on both the front and back. On "real" cargo container trains (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

Cool! I, too, like the colors, and the shape and size. Very swoosh-along-the-floor-able. The stack of 2x2 dishes reminds me of a bellows - like giving it a good bop would launch some ordnance. James Wilson Dallas, TX (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Space Cargo Container Standard?

(...) Reading your post it comes to my mind: I tried this as child to save wheels and therefore to build as many cars as possible, but the axles got stuck between the tracks. (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Space Cargo Container Standard?

(...) real life application. Has anyone built this and tested it on trian curves and switches? I think you may hav a problem keeping the single axle from having a mind of its own... (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Cybermen

(...) Looks a bit too solidly built for Who :) Peter (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Cybermen

(...) Quick, get the powdered gold! Nice corridor, too, very Whovian. Thanks, George (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Cybermen

An apparent breach of moonbase security. The Cybermen will enjoy their new moonbase, in the usual way that Cybermen enjoy things, using them in a scheme to invade and/or destroy the Earth. (URL) Another use of the "Dalek" part. I made the corridor (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Hovercar: "Coyote"

(...) Thanks, Lenny. Actually, that went from concept to finished product rather quickly, which does'nt happen often for me. The windshield hinge was the only major design challenge. Ain't serendipity great. Later, Todd (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

(...) snip Very good moc. I like the colors, the slick exterior and the precise detailing. What I think is really missing are headlights. Does it have a detailed underside, to? I also had a close look at your other great mocs in your gallery. I must (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Crane

(...) My design covers the crane part, and could easily mix&match with your design. Pictures and short descriptions can be found at (URL). Yours, Christian (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)
