| | RE: Ir transmission
| (...) Alas, I only used the firmware timers available as core RCX firmware calls. I can look through Kekoa's disassembly to see if there are higher resolution timers available ( I think the motor timers might be useful ) In general, NQC hooks in (...) | | IR remote control codes.
| hi all, has anyone experience with the IR codes transmitted by the remote controler. As far as I know, these codes are normal direct commands, which you also send from your PC, using the standard IR tower. The documentation on this issue is not very (...) Things work fine if the PC initiates a conversation (e.g. by asking the RCX to send (...) (25 years ago, 23-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

| Anybody already write code to play notes thru the RCX as they are chosen, keep a history of the notes, replay the assembled tune, etc.? --- I think I mean to be asking for a public domain GUI.
