| Is there a complete instruction for installing BrickOS on Linux? I'm particularly interested in details involving creating a cross-compiler and getting the USB tower to work. | Hi Huub, (...) have you run make? (...) You can also get it working with the CVS version of Lejos and a Linux kernel >= 2.6.7, which includes the newest driver. | I'm trying to use "TOWERAPI.DLL" to directly setup the USB tower drivers in a Windows C++ program using Microsoft's Visual Studio. | (...) I have installed it with no problem on Win2K. Do you have a full RIS 2.0 with the USB tower? If so, you are probably out of luck for NT. I've heard you can by the serial tower from pitsco-dacta, which should allow you to use NQC on NT fine. (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| The GUI version is 2.1.0. The pbForth version (COLD) is 2.1.2. I am using the USB tower with RIS 2.0. Once the RCX stops responding, if I pull out a battery and re-upload the firmware, the RCX will respond again to the same GUI session. In other (...)
