| Finally I got a firmdl3 version that FULLY works on Winnt, both in slow and fast mode! No more "write: permission denied" or "read: permission denied" problems... | What is the proper serial port configuration? I had it once but I lost it. I'm having other problems so the hunt around method of finding the parameters isn't working. I can no longer communicate (firmdll etc.) unless the RCX is inches away from the (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

| Ah, in that case you will need my pbFORTH IDE and downloader, which is not on the drawing board yet, but just a wishlist: o filter out ddoouubbllee letters, use echo to check o fast download, skipping comments and compressing whitespace, macro (...) | Hallo! Has anybody experiences with legos on notebooks? I want to use legos under linux on a notebook computer. I use a serial pcmcia card from socket communications. | I finally succeeded in compiling an egcs-1.1.2 compiler for cygwin with the patch for enhanced RCX interrupt support applied. The bad news is: this doesn't change a thing. | No, it won't, here's what I did: Install the software, it will probably crap out on parts of the QuickTime 2 & 3 installation, continue thru everything to the end. | (...) Hmmm, yes, you are right. In fact it woudn't make sense. My actual robot uses a little neural net and if battery goes low, the actual data will be sent to the PC to be saved. Also note that when using "su" it sometimes doesn't take over all the settings from the user account that you used to log on. Perhaps the sudo command would work (...)
