I am using the TCL GUI provided by Ralph Hempel on a Windows 2000 machine to program the RCX 2.0 in pbForth. The upload of the firmware appears to be working just fine. I get responses back from the RCX and am able to create new functions without (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

I have developed a framework of classes in C++ that encapsulates the the RCX and its communication either from serial and from usb port. The framework is based on a proprietary library of fundation classes by SYCO called G++ that can be freely (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: Light sensor question

Hi Matt, I'll try to help. :o) First, you have to specify the type of sensor that is hooked on the port. You do that with: type port SENSOR_TYPE Let me know if you need to know the different values for 'type'. 3 is a light sensor. Ports are numbered (...)   LNP questions

Can anyone tell me if this function is blocking: lnp_integrity_write or, how can I find out when it is complete? I'm trying to do proximity stuff with BrickOS and I want to know when IR is being transmitted. Thanks Steve (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  librcx & interrupt handler

Hi everyone, I am trying to use librcx (URL) to write light (in code size) programs for RCX, and up till now it works fine, but i'd like to begin using interrupts. I'd like to set my own handler for the interrupts. For example, an interrupt handler (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

The frequency of the RCX's IR does not change at all: " The RCX uses a 38kHz carrier, which is pretty typical for TV remotes. As for the sampling rate, the RCX runs at 2400 bps, which makes each bit approx 417us " (URL) think the only way you could (...) (22 years ago, 28-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
