the motor in the movie is called a "power motor", you can read about it here:

it'S the large black one with red axleholes. i'll be using it as the spindle.
i guess the gearing in my axes is still too fast for the cutter, if i have to
redesign the drive i might as well add the anti-backlash trick. the bad thing is
that it will take ages for the cutter to move into position... but that's the
way lego works i guess, until i get one technic motor (for cutting) and one
power motor (for positioning) for each axis :) (yeah, keep dreaming)
