It has never done a sun and planet assembly as far as I am aware and I want
one! Heck, I want a few!

   Yeah!  To scale!  I need some 1.5-million-stud-length axle pieces...:)
   Actually, this is a great idea for an "ideas" set.  Hey, I need to
   get out my copy of "Dark Crystal" so I can build Aughra's observatory!

Well, while we are on the topic of technic wants... I want a brick with a threaded hole that a worm screw could fit through. My son has just discovered Thunderbirds (which by an odd turn of fate I was avidly watching in 1964 in Madison Wisconsin, (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Yeah! Orreries rule! Check out: (URL) pic: (URL) quite a good one of a simple orrery that only models the sun, earth and moon. I'm sure it would be possible to use a turntable or 40t gear and then put gears on the arm to change the gearing to (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)
