Hey All! Getting tired of the those pesky dwarf minifigs hanging around and getting in the way? Launch 'em! At BrickCon 09, Castle will be hosting a seige engine competition called "Dwarves for Distance". This event is in honor of the convention (...) Hi, How come in the "Big Blocks", the "raise arm" and "lower arm" blocks use the C motor when it should use A motor. The "rotate left" and "rotate right" blocks also use the C motor (as it should). Anybody else ever built this model? This is the (...) (16 years ago, 10-Aug-09, to lugnet.robotics)

I have Windows 7 RC on my netbook and I can't get the NXT software (version 1.1) to install. It hangs when the installer presents its progress bars and starts copying files off the CD. So far as I can see from the Scratch interface, there is control of one motor, but no sensors. (There are sensors via the ScratchBoard, but not through the WeDo interface.) Patch 10: This works for me under Cygwin with a USB tower, but some of the files such as rcx_comm.c have a bit of platform-specific code. (...) They made it 7.4V because all lithium polymer battery cells are 3.6 - 3.8V. Since this is a pack with 2 cells in series, you get 7.4V. A 3 cell pack is typically 11.2V.
