There's a Dutch, German, French, Japanese, English and I think Italian version.
However, the localization depends on where you buy it and if you can get the set
where you live it will probably be in English (as it is in Spain).
There's a booklet with instructions, but the same instructions are also
contained in the programming software that comes with the set. A second booklet
explains the basics about the NXT, it's interface, motors and sensors.
You can see both booklets(in English) at
http://www.hccamsterdam.nl/brickfactory/setlist/index.htm (select the set range
from 8500-8599 and then click on the image of the 8527).
The instructions for building the robots are also available as downloads
somewhere, but I can't find the link right now
