Things Im looking for:
- A good way to post news to the front page
- A forum - preferably one that allows me to have public grous and members only ones
- An image gallery/album system
- Id love an rss/atom feed from the news as well
- More CSS, less tables and in line formating

I thought of a few more things:
- We are being hosted by NorthStar Computer Systems, which runs windows servers, I believe phpwebsite doesnt run on windows.
- A way for users to add content
- For coming events, I like to be able to have some content shown to everyone, while other only to members. This would be useful for coming events that we are still in the early planning stages of, before we make a commitment.
- A calender function would be cool. Perhaps this would solve the above events concern?

An alternate approach would be to set up a Wiki. Its basically a collaborative
web site. You can control who gets access, e.g., read-only, upload, modify,
etc. They are pretty easy to set up and run and they will run under Windows. I
set up a test Wiki just for fun at http://www.scrope.com/legowiki to try one out
for my personal site. I use one at home to maintain my computer maintenance
records and we use one at work for all our design documentation. There is a
huge number of different Wikis out there. WAMALUG is currently trying to
decide on which one we want to set up to supplement our web site.
Also, you might consider adding a blog. WAMALUG has just set up a blog as a
test to see if we like it as a way of distributing information.
