   I made Verdana the back up font on some of my pages, I will have to
finish the rest sometime.  Verdana does look pretty good, and its shipped on
Mac and Win now.  I will look into making the font downloadable... sometime.

If you really prefer that font, why not make the titles in that font into
low-bandwith gif files?  (Images of text are easy to get down to less
than 2Kb.)
