I know it sucks, but the truth is that about 90% of people looking at typical
web sites use a Microsoft OS. My site has a 91% windows rate, with Mac and
Unix covering about 3.5% each. Although Macs and Unix and Linux may be better
systems thier rare and most web sites arent designed around them.
Idealy sites shoudl be designed so that no specific font is neccessary (system
default font) and things that require specific fonts shoudl be do in images or
another means that alows the viewing of fonts that arent on the viewers
computer.

Course if you make a Mac specific web site then the rest of us would be out of
luck :o)
