  Re: Gaming Conventions and Brikwars

(...) combined :D (...) Yeah. It's just that a gaming convention isn't the best place to do it. I've been to gaming conventions... trust me on this one. Slightly better would be something Neil brought up a while back, which is the possibility of (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) yeah, I hate to sound unfriendly, but I kinda like it being us heavy-duty LEGO-heads. I still think of BW as an excuse to build with LEGO more than a game that uses LEGO.. glad you thought of it though. -Suz (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Gaming Conventions and Brikwars

(...) I guess it really depends on how much we want to get BrikWars publicity. I sincerely doubt it would do much for NELUG in general. In all honesty, I would say it would most likely be a waste of time. eric (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Gaming Conventions and Brikwars

This is more a question for our seasoned gamers. Do you think it would be worth the effort to look into presenting Brikwars at a local gaming convention? Or would it be a waist of time and effort? Anyway I was looking at the Jenga Convention Guide: (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting July 31 or August 1?

(...) OK Jorge settled this meeting by being the only one to past a "bad day". So this meeting is official. Tuesday 7/31 it is. Same time, same place as usual(1). I will post a few days ahead to try and get a rough head count. Eric Kingsley (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Meeting August 26th - Sept 3rd?

(...) These dates, or any of the others that have been floated around, are all fine for me so far. Now we just need somebody to make the decision. Maybe Dan or Jen could, since we would definitely like to accomodate their visit? Or if they're (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Meeting August 26th - Sept 3rd?

Well, I only recently (in the last three months) moved here (to Holden) from Vermont. I was an NELUG member the while in Vermont, but of course, I couldn't participate in anything, since everything happens close to Boston, so when we decided to move (...)   Re: Meeting August 26th - Sept 3rd?

(...) Well we have 115 people on our mailing list. I would guess 10-15 of those are members at large so that leaves about 100. Now not all of those have been to a meeting. I think if you count just those that have made 1 or more meetings then your (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
