  Re: Train Tables

(...) Ah, ok.. for some reason I seemed to remember being told it was about an hour for setup at a train show-- must be the blurr from the Brickfest affecting my brain. Our Greenburg experience is pretty close to yours (except they don't put us (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: New Train Show date possibility...

(...) I dunno. I wouldn't mind donating stuff and being there for one day of the event-- don't think I want to drive out 3 times though (assuming Friday setup, Saturday & Sunday shows)... So-- I guess you can put me down as a "kinda". DaveE (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ri)

  Meeting August 26th - Sept 3rd?

(...) Given that we usually meet weekday nights (why *is* that anyway?) and usually Mon-Thurs, I'd nominate the 26th, 30th, 1st, or 2nd for meetings. How are those by people? I think I'm free for all of them... Or of course we COULD break our norm (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Congrats, Dave! (was: Re: Meeting July 31 or August 1?)

(...) I was actually a NELUGer first :) Speaking of meetings, Dan and I will be up the last week of august/first week of sept (I think from the 25th to the 3rdish)... any plans for a meeting around then? We'll be on the cape, but we'll have a car, (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) Eric - I'll get to your message when i get some more info, i don't remember how much the tables cost, but you're right, more than $15 each! :) I seem to remember an $800 bill, but I can't recall how many that is for, etc. David - For our (...) I actually don't think of them as light, but i'm a wuss - and it scares me that your tables are heavier! Tom could tell you what width wood and (...) (...) Ahhh. So NELUG would be "cooler" if we were unorigional copycatting plagarists? :-O I'll have to remember that... ;-) Hey I love our logo, besides (for the 100th time) we arn't a train club, we are a LEGO club that happens to also do LEGO (...)   Re: Train Tables

Actually I have thought of about most of these redesigns. Many of them the main differance in my mind is Cost. I think our tables everything included run us under $15 per table. I think the folding legs cost about $16 per pair, or $32 per table... (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
