Ah yes.. I knew I must've been forgetting something :)
Well perhaps just thoughts for later then... when/if we have money and
when/if we feel the desire...

Actually, they said one of the reasons they were the way they were was
because often they were under strict time constraints-- I forget how long
they said, but it was something like 1 hour or less to get the whole display
set up (depending on the show, I'd assume), or at least presentable.
Greenburg is pretty nice insofar as we get like 6 hours to set up... or more
depending on how early you get there each day... So it hasn't really been a
necessity for us...

Eric - I'll get to your message when i get some more info, i don't
remember how much the tables cost, but you're right, more than $15 each!
:)  I seem to remember an $800 bill, but I can't recall how many that is
for, etc.

David - For our Manassas show, it's a one day event - Sat only... we can
get there at 7am and i believe it opens at 10?  So that's 3 hours total,
trains have to be running by 10, and everything under the tables.

For Greenberg, they put us nearest the doors, we load in friday night,
2-3 hour set up, come back sat morning, put on finishing touches, start
running trains, sunday for strike we are the first out typically, and
since we're nearest the door, we *have* to be quick, so others can get
their HO modules and such out, etc.

Our Greenburg experience is pretty close to yours (except they don't put us (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
