speaking of the library, I just thought I would let you all know that I
managed to drop off quite a few leaflets of information about the club to
the library (the central branch). I spoke with the librarian in the science
section. She said that she would put up the leaflets in some high traffic
areas around the science section of the library. Hopefully this will yield
some positive results.
Regarding McPherson Center, I would still very much like to put on something
of a display. LEGO® Mindstorm, of course, and perhaps a couple of other
things. I still think that we should consider this option for some
exposure, anyway.I think it would be a lot of fun to be able to attract
potential new members who may have an interest in something like LEGO®
Mindstorm. Robot wars would be fun!
I have also come across a couple of listing sites on the Internet which list
nonprofit clubs or organizations in Vancouver. When I have some time, I
will be adding the Vancouver LEGO® club to this list.
I started working on a Belville MOC last night. And struggling little bit
due to the limited pieces I have in their color scheme, it's coming along
quite nicely.
